Did you know Big Bear has a Winnie the Pooh Land? This secret area is tucked away near a gorgeous meadow, small creek and next to massive boulders!
The hidden land host Pooh’s home, Piglets home, a beautiful garden, Poohs honey pot and many more hand made wooden signs all related to Winnie the Pooh.
No one actually knows who created this wonderland but it was built in the late 60’s and for some reason, the Forest Service and all its visitors have left it undisturbed.
Getting There: The road begins at Oak Knoll Lodge and goes up Mill Creek Road. Take the cutoff to camp Osito but vere left (most traveled) before you get to gate. Just before you reach a creek there will be a meadow to your left and space for a couple of cars to park (FS says you need an adventure pass). Walk down the meadow and follow the stream.
